Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: LATTE (Typical – 2 vowels, 1 paired consonant)
# Of Guesses: 3.5 WordleBot average per Marc McLaren*, 3 for WordleGuru 😊

Seed Word: ROATE: first word of the triad – ROATE/SULCI/NYMPH.
What we learned from the Seed Word: presence of two vowels – A (position TBD) and E (in the 5^th spot) and one consonant (T) in the 4^th position. 12 possibilities at this stage including 5 orthographic neighbor words – [BASTE, CASTE, PASTE, TASTE, and WASTE] ouch!  It was time to deploy the EnotE© strategy.

2^nd Word: SABLE: Since the seed word revealed two vowels, I didn’t need to search for additional vowels. I could not come up with one word to eliminate 11 of the 12 possibilities, so I had to find a less than optimum elimination word. I chose SABLE. Luckily for me it did the job. 😊 Only one possibility after this elimination word. It was a lucky day for me big time. The EnotE© strategy worked perfectly.

Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was in my corner. 😊
