Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: CREDO

Typical or atypical target word? — Typical, it contains 2 vowels (E and O) and one compound consonant (CR). The “norm” is 2 vowels and 1 compound/paired consonant.

Seed Word: STARE – The “go-to” seed word starting March 8, 2023.
What we learned from the Seed Word: The seed word revealed 2 letters – R and E without revealing their positions.  Too many possibilities at this stage. Need more discovery.

2nd word: CHOIL (2^nd word of the triad STARE/CHOIL/PUDGY): It revealed C in first position and O but not its position.  At this point there were 5 possibilities with 4 orthographic neighbor words – [CODER, COVER, COWER, COMER], and CREDO.  Time to deploy the EnotE© strategy.

3rd word: COVER – I could not come up with a single word to eliminate 4 of the 5 possibilities.  Had to use a less optimal word.  I prefer to use one of the possible words as an elimination word, if possible. I chose COVER.  It led to the answer – CREDO.

Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was on my side.
