Wordle Bulletin # 507 (November 8, 2022)
My strategy is built to ensure I solve 95% of the puzzles in 4 guesses or less. It is not built to always shoot for the lowest score possible. The score depends a lot on the seed word. Wordle is a game of luck and skill.

Target Word: SPELL
Typical Wordle Word Construct: 2 Vowels and one compound/paired consonant (2 letters or 3 letters; seen with >50% frequency)
Today’s Wordle Word Construct: A-Typical; 1 Vowels (E), 1 compound consonant (SP), 1 paired consonant (LL)
# Of Guesses: 3.9 WordleBot average per Marc McLaren*; 3 for WordleGuru
Seed Word: STARE; from now on this will be my seed word.
Seed Word Revelations: 1 consonant (S) in the 1st position, 1 vowel (E) but not its exact position
# Of Possible Solutions after the seed word: 27; it was time to deploy the EnotE strategy, even though they were 27 possible answers
Second Word: PLINK; after a lot of deliberation, I came up with the elimination word PLINK. Yes, it is a valid word! It led to the target word by eliminating 26 of the 27 possible words! This is a new record for an elimination word. It led me to the target word – SPELL

EnotE (Eliminate-not-Enumerate) Strategy deployment: Deployed right after the first word. It worked beautifully! Led me to the target word!! 😊

Final thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. So much depends on the seed word. I selected STARE based on the frequency distributions of letters. Today LadyLuck was on my side. One elimination word was able to knock out 26 of the 27 possibilities.
