Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: VOTER

Seed Word: STARE – The “go-to” seed word starting March 8, 2023.
What we learned from the Seed Word: The seed word revealed 3 letters – T, R, and E but not their positions.

2nd word: COLIN: (2nd word of the triad STARE/COLIN/PUDGY): 5 possible words, including several orthographic neighbor words [VOTER, TOTER, DOTER], [TOPER, TOWER]. Time for the #ENotE© strategy.

3rd word: TOWER — In my judgment only TOWER and VOTER are regularly used words. My gutfeel was driving me towards VOTER, but frequency data preferred TOWER. I got swayed by the frequency data. I know the shortcomings of the frequency data, still I fell for it and lost. A friend of mine has a rule when the possibilities are 3 or less — go with gutfeel. I need to listen to him.

Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was not on my side. I lost the coin toss. ☹
