Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: GROUT

Seed Word: STARE – The “go-to” seed word starting March 8, 2023.
What we learned from the Seed Word: The seed word revealed 2 letters – T & R, but not their positions.

2nd word: COLIN: (2^nd word of the triad STARE/COLIN/PUDGY): 10 possible words, including many orthographic neighbor words [BROTH, FROTH], GROUT, [THROB, THROW], [TROMP, TROOP], [TUMOR, TUTOR] and TURBO.  Time for the #ENotE© strategy.

3rd word: THUMB – I could not think of a word that would eliminate 9 of the 10 possibilities. I selected a 2nd best alternate in THUMB. Luckily it worked and led to the target word.

Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was on my side. It could easily have required one more guess. 😊
