Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: FLASK (Atypical – 1 vowel, 2 compound consonants)
# Of Guesses: 3.8 WordleBot average per Marc McLaren*, 3 for WordleGuru

Seed Word: ROATE: first word of the triad – ROATE/SULCI/NYMPH.
What we learned from the Seed Word: Presence of 1 vowel (A) in the 3^rd position.  Since most of the Wordle words have 2 vowels, we needed to search for additional vowels.

2^nd Word: SULCI: 2^nd word of the triad.  It revealed the presence of 2 consonants but not their positions.  At this stage 4 possibilities, including 2 orthographic neighbor words [FLASK, FLASH], GLASS, and PSALM. Time to deploy the EnotE© strategy.

3^rd Word: FLASK: In my judgment PSALM is not a common word. So, the choice came down to FLASK, FLASH and GLASS. Either of the first two words would work as an elimination word. Coin toss between FLASH and FLASK. Chose the latter and it worked. Another lucky day. 😊

Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was in my corner. I won the coin toss. I know my luck is going to run out one of these days soon. 😊
