Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: SULKY

Seed Word: SULCI: Decided to switch the seed word and the second word of the ROATE/SULCI/NYMPH triad, since I have had good luck for 6 days with ROATE as the seed word. One of my friends had suggested this variation. Today is the first time I have used it. I know one point doesn’t make a trend.

What we learned from the Seed Word: SULCI worked beautifully. After the seed word, there are only two possibilities — SULLY and SULKY. 😊😊😊

Second Word: SULKY: letter frequency, word usage and letter position mix data gave contradictory signals. Decided on SULKY based on compound consonant (ex. NG) being more frequent than double consonant (ex. LL). It proved to be the right decision. Won the coin toss. 😊😊😊

Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was in my favor with SULKY as the target word.  I won the coin toss today. 😊
