Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: GUARD (Typical – 2 vowels, 1 compound/ paired consonants) [typical – 2 vowels, 1 compound/paired consonant]
# Of Guesses: 3.9 WordleBot average per Marc McLaren*, 4 for WordleGuru.

Seed Word: ALTER: first word of the triad – ALTER/SONIC/PUDGY.
What we learned from the Seed Word: It revealed one vowel (A) and 1 consonant (R), but not their positions. Since we revealed only 1 vowel and most of the Wordle words have 2 vowels, we needed to search for additional vowels.

2^nd Word: SONIC: Used the second word of the triad. While it didn’t reveal any letters, it surely eliminated a whole bunch of words! At this stage 15 possible answers.  Due to the large number of possible words, the deployment of the EnotE© strategy might have required 2 or more rounds.

3^rd Word: PUDGY: I chose to go with the 3^rd word of the triad. It paid off.  Only 1 possibility – GUARD. 😊

Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was in my favor. 😊
