It was time to deploy the EnotE strategy. After a lot of deliberation and thinking I selected PITCH as the elimination word. Interestingly, yesterday’s elimination word was PATCH!
Second Word: PITCH
Revelations from the 2nd word: 1 consonant (T) and 1 vowel (I) but not their positions
# Of Possible Solutions after the Second Word: 3 – EXIST, INSET, ISLET
EnotE (Eliminate-not-Enumerate) Strategy deployment: Either of INSET or ISLET would have served as the elimination word.
Gut Feel: I had the gut feel that EXIST is the target word. The issue was should EXIST not be the target word, I’d have had to deal with the remaining two possibilities. This could have led me to a score of 5.
Final thoughts: Wordle outcome has a lot to do with luck, not just skill. It’s clear that LadyLuck was not on my side today.
