Wordle #858 (October 25, 023) – NY Times WordleBot score: 4.1
Triad: SLATE/RHINO/PUDGY

Tactics for today’s Wordle : I chose a non-triad second word (NOTER) based upon what was revealed by the seed word. The word NOTER eliminated all but three words- PETRI, RETCH and RETRY. In my judgment the first two are not common words, so essentially it left me with only one possibility. Luckily it turned out to be the answer. 😊

Wordle #856 (October 23, 023) – NY Times WordleBot score: 3.8
Triad: SLATE/RHINO/PUDGY

Tactics for today’s Wordle:  After the seed word, chose a non-triad word for the 2nd guess. At this point in time there were four possibilities (excluding the past tense of verbs) – TEMPO, DETOX, DEPOT and TOTEM. It was time to deploy the EnotE strategy.  I prefer to use one of the possibilities, if it makes sense, as the elimination word.  This time choosing TEMPO as the elimination word made sense.  Luckily it proved to be the target word.😊
