Wordle Bulletin #676 (April 26, 2023) — “Good start with a recycled seed word!!”
Note: I am going back to my tried-and-true triad — ROATE/SULCI/NYMPH.
Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: METRO

Seed Word: ROATE
What we learned from the Seed Word: presence of R, O, T and E but not their exact positions. Only 7 possibilities at this stage – [METRO, HETRO], [OTTER, OTHER], OUTER, OVERT, and TENOR. Time to deploy the EnotE© strategy.
2nd word: OTHER: I prefer to use one of the possible words as an elimination word if it makes sense. In today’s puzzle that would have meant solution in 2 guesses. The word OTHER fit the bill, but it wasn’t the target word. However, it led to the target word. 😊
Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was not a factor.
