Wordle Bulletin #639 (March 20, 2023) — “Won the coin toss today!”
Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: GLOVE

Seed Word: STARE – The “go-to” seed word starting March 8, 2023.
What we learned from the Seed Word: The seed word revealed E in the 5th position. Too many possibilities at this stage. Need more discovery.
2nd word: CHOIL (2nd word of the triad STARE/CHOIL/PUDGY): It revealed 2 letters – C in the middle and L but not its position. At this point there were 3 possibilities including 2 orthographic neighbor words – [GLOVE and GLOBE] and ELOPE. Time to deploy the EnotE© strategy.
3rd word: GLOVE – I prefer to use one of the possible words as an elimination word, if possible. Today it was possible. Based on frequency, mix and usage data, I picked GLOVE as the elimination word. Thankfully, it was the answer. I won the coin toss.
Final Thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was on my side. I won the coin toss.
