Wordle Bulletin #628 (March 9, 2023) — “A pair of new words – good omen!”
Today’s Wordle:
Target Word: WHERE
# Of Guesses: 3.9 WordleBot average per Marc McLaren*, 3 for WordleGuru 😊
Typical or atypical target word? — Typical, it contains 2 instances of the same vowel (E, E) and 1 compound consonant (WH). The “norm” is 2 vowels and 1 compound/paired consonant.
Seed Word: STARE – The “go-to” seed word starting yesterday.
What we learned from the Seed Word: The seed word revealed 2 letters (R and E) in the 4th and 5th positions. Too many possibilities at this stage. Need more discovery.
2nd word: CHOLI (the 2nd word of the triad STARE/CHOIL or STARE/CHOLI): Used CHOLI and it revealed H in the 2nd position. Only one possibility after the 2nd word – WHERE. 😊😊😊😊😊
Final thoughts: Wordle is a game of luck and skill. Sometimes luck favors the game and sometimes it favors the player. Today luck was in neutral.
